Daily photo challenge - week 12 is complete - PROGRESS

Progress.....

 Well, it's progress that I made it to the 

end of the week and have actually 

taken a photo every day.

Yup - it's been one of those weeks.

Sunday to Tuesday in New Plymouth 

for my step-grandad's funeral

and then a full on week getting ready for 

our little family holiday.

In the middle of it all, I did celebrate 

one of my favourite days of the year -

check out 21.3.12

as we're off on holiday tomorrow morning.

This week's theme is TOYS 

and that certainly meant plenty of room to play 

(excuse the pun!).

This week I got to play 

with a few camera settings, 

and discovered a few more things about our tripod.

This week's theme was Kiwiana. 

The options were aplenty with this one.

 

I had a very hectic week, including two days in Wellington, 

but luckily I still managed to find some time to think about my pics.

 

I have to confess - when it comes to 6.3.12,

I'm torn about which pic to post - 

so I'm cheating and posting two.

A fun filled family day on Saturday was certainly 

a great way to top off a busy week.

Daily photo challenge - week nine is complete - UP

This week's theme was UP 

and I managed to get a few theme-related pics.

I had one of those weeks where I was spoilt for choice one day (26.2.12) 

and the next day (27.2.2) I had a great plan

but the end result wasn't quite what I wanted 

and I didn't have the time to try again.

But I did have fun playing around one night 

when I had the house to myself -

thankfully Captain Teddy was a a patient subject 

so I managed to try different camera settings 

and light sources.
